Meeting of the NE Community Development Oversight Committee

The Oversight Committee provides accountability for the implementation of the goals, objectives and investment priorities of the North/Northeast Community Development Initiative Action Plan.

The Action Plan is to use Tax Increment Financing resources to foster economic prosperity among communities of color and marginalized individuals that have not fully participated in, or benefited from, economic opportunities in the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area.

Working with Prosper Portland staff, the Oversight Committee is responsible for reviewing, advising, and monitoring the implementation of the plan.

The committee is made up of 15 individuals with an interest and/or experience in the Plan’s five policy areas: homeownership, property development, business growth & development, non-profit support and cultural business hub.  

The fourth meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Billy Webb Elks Lodge, 6 N. Tillamook St, Portland, OR 97227.

The general public is welcome to attend.
